Before Lilly's was a restaurant in Jenkintown, it was a kitchen at home. That's where Lilly Kutty Thomas cooked for her family: three meals a day, every day, for decades.
She didn't write recipes down. She cooked by feel, by season, by who was at the table. Her son Jiji learned by standing next to her, and that's still how the kitchen at Lilly's works today.
In 2020, Jiji opened Lilly's in her name. The dining room is busy now. The food is the same.
